1. Using MonkeeBooks

You may use MonkeeBooks only for lawful purposes and must provide accurate account information. You are responsible for protecting your password and for activity performed through your account.

2. Homeschool guidance

MonkeeBooks provides organizational tools, educational resources, links to official sources, and general homeschool guidance. It is not a law firm, school, government agency, tax adviser, or substitute for professional advice. Requirements can change, and families remain responsible for reviewing current rules that apply to them.

3. Accounts and family information

You control the information you enter about your family and homeschoolers. Do not enter information you do not have the right to provide. You may update or request deletion of account information subject to records MonkeeBooks must retain for transactions, security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

4. Marketplace

Marketplace sellers are responsible for accurate listings, lawful products, shipping, fulfillment, and any representations they make about an item. Buyers are responsible for reviewing listings before purchase. Marketplace transactions may also be subject to seller terms, payment processor terms, shipping rules, refund rules, and taxes.

5. Referral program

Referral connections and seller-fee discounts are promotional features. A referral counts only when the invited account meets the requirements displayed in the referral program and the referring member confirms the connection. MonkeeBooks may reject duplicate, fraudulent, self-referred, automated, or abusive referrals and may change or discontinue referral tiers prospectively.

6. Fees and paid features

Any price, subscription, marketplace fee, processing charge, or other paid feature will be shown before the applicable purchase or seller action. Taxes and third-party payment charges may apply where disclosed.

7. Acceptable use

You may not misuse MonkeeBooks, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious material, scrape restricted account data, impersonate others, or use the service to violate another person's rights.

8. Intellectual property

MonkeeBooks branding, software, page designs, and original platform content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Curriculum, product names, books, images, and third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.

9. Availability and changes

Features may change as MonkeeBooks develops. We may maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue features when necessary for security, reliability, legal compliance, or product development.

10. Warranty and liability

MonkeeBooks is provided on an as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, specific educational outcomes, marketplace sales, or that every third-party resource remains available. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Account restrictions

We may restrict or close accounts that violate these terms, create security or fraud risks, abuse marketplace or referral features, or cause material harm to MonkeeBooks or other users.
